Membership fees for period April 2025 to March 2026:
Adult Member – £150
Junior Member (aged 9-18yrs) – £65
Junior Member (aged 9-18yrs) joining with Parent Member(s) – £26 discounted
Under 9 Member (restricted to Saturday coaching only) – £36
Under 9 Member joining with Parent Member(s) £15 discounted
Social Member – £25 (non-playing)
NB membership subscriptions are non-refundable. There is no joining fee at Crablands.
Opening Times
The gates to the club are open between 09:00 and 19:00 – these times may change during the lighter evenings.
LED Lighting
Two courts have LED lighting – token system in operation to pay for use (£1 per token 45 minutes)
Pickleball
Outdoor Pickleball (as well as indoor)
Clubhouse Facilities
Crablands has an indoor sports hall in which short tennis, table tennis and pickleball are played. Upstairs are kitchen facilities, large leisure and bar area.
Club Matches
Club matches are arranged for all members, Adults and Juniors to take part in.
Leagues/Tournaments
There are Ladies and Mens’ teams taking part in the Tennis Sussex – Babolat Winter and Summer Leagues
– 5% discount on all Tennis Balls
– Exclusions remaining in place for Table Tennis equipment and all machines

Club Sessions
We offer Adult and Junior club sessions throughout the week – an opportunity for members to enjoy social tennis with other members. Details available on request.
Junior Coaching (ages 4-18)
Coaching takes place on a Saturday morning between 09:15 and 12:15
There are 4 groups for junior coaching and the groups are arranged according to ability.
The club have two LTA qualified coaches – details of coach and costs on request.
Adult Coaching (over 18’s)
LTA qualified coaching sessions are held throughout the week – either group or 1-1s – details of costs and timings on request.
Cardio Tennis
LTA qualified coach runs several Cardio Tennis sessions during the week/weekends – details of costs and timings on request.
Booking Courts
On joining, members have access to our online court booking system – no court booking fee charged.

Events/Socials
Combined club and tennis only events are run throughout the year – encouraging cross club social integration, fun and fund raising.
Other Information
Crablands is run by volunteers – there are no paid employees working at Crablands.
Crablands Tennis Section encourage and appreciate any suggestions from their members in respect of how to improve the running of the club.
