Short Mat Finals results 2025
The 2025 Short Mat Presentation Evening was held on 5th April.
As last year, everyone enjoyed a fish and chip supper before the presentation.
Prizes were presented by our Chairman, Bryan Jackson.

The winners of the semi- finals were: Susan Jackson & Rod Shambrook and Bryan Jackson & Peter Wetherill.
They will play the Final over 21 ends on either 4th, 6th or 7th April.

Chairman’s Cup – Mixed Pairs Final – Sunday 12th February
Cheryl Brown & Peter Blackman played Elaine Sadler & Paul Holland
It was a very close match with the score of 14 -14 with just one end to play.
Elaine & Paul were holding one when Peter had the final shot of the match managing to push the jack out giving his team the winning shot. 15-14

The first two rounds of this competition were played with some great bowling.
The semi finals will be held on Sunday 22nd Januar
November 20th Drawn Mixed Pairs
Day 2 of the Drawn Mixed Pairs saw 10 teams going through, being divided into 2 pools with the successful top 4 of each pool going through to the Quarter-finals.
In the semi-finals Elaine Sadler & Les Jewiss and Danny Arnold & Sarah Fewster won and will now play each other in the final in March 2023.
Thanks to the generosity of members donation of prizes & buying tickets, the raffle raised £43 and the purchase food & drink £36.36.
